An Evening Without Victoria Wood
Just as Bath Fringe was going to press, news came through that we had lost one of our greatest comedy geniuses of all time to cancer at the ridiculously early age of 62.
To bring together Victoria Wood fans in an evening of tribute and celebratory hilarity, Jem Roberts hosts a special staged reading of monologues and sketches, and of course, songs including 'It Would Never Have Worked' and 'The Ballad of Barry & Freda'.
Entry on the night is free, but donations will be encouraged, with all proceeds going to http://www.jessiesfund.org.uk/a musical charity of which Victoria was patron.
Alternatively, to guarantee a seat, you can purchase an Advance Ticket paying an amount of your choice (minimum £5).
Macaroons will be available. Possibly.
