Fiesta! Meal Ticket

Fiesta is a community party featuring an afternoon of food, music, art activities, and fun that raises money to support the work of the Community Center of Mendocino, Sunday, May 15 from 1 to 5 pm at the Center on the corner of School Street and Pine in Mendocino.

The afternoon will feature a festive Mexican lunch and dessert station with treats donated by some of the coast's best bakers. Cumbaleros will dish up a spicy mix of Cumbias, Boleros, Polkas y Valses, with Chad Swimmer on percussion, Frannie Leopold on guitar and vocals, Sue Crawford on accordion, and Peter Barg on Tololoche. Activities for children; demonstrations of circus silks and other fun. This year's silent auction will feature donated wines and an array of other useful items alongside skills and services offered by community members. Admission is free; lunch is $15 for adults, $7 for children. Proceeds support the Community Center of Mendocinos After School Enrichment Program and other community activities and services.

The Community Center of Mendocino is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides after-school enrichment classes, homework club, sports camps, summer programs for children, and activities for toddlers, teens, adults, and seniors. Find out more at ccmendo.org.
