What We Do For Love starring Marcia Harp and Alan Jon
Marcia Harp is an actress, singer, dancer, producer, choreographer, and voice and dance instructor. She appeared in numerous productions in Los Angles and across the nation before settling down in Palm Springs where she continues her art, most recently as Sweet Sue in Palm Canyon Theatres Sugar. But most of you will remember her as a long-legged lovely in the long-running Fabulous Palm Springs Follies. Alan Jon is a former actor and singer who left show business to work full time as a Colorist and college instructor. He now shares his time between homes in Los Angeles and Palm Springs and has returned to his first love, singing. Alan and Marcia met at one of the cabaret open mic nights hosted by Les Michaels and became close friends. What We Do For Love will be their first show together and will include solos and duets of some of their favorite songs with musical direction by Ron Snyder.
