Mother's Day Jazz Concert at The Castle on Charles
A fireplace, uplifting jazz, a tasty bit to eat and an inspiring atmosphere. That's what mother's LOVE and deserve! Bring the mother(s) in your life to this fabulous jazz event at The Castle on Charles, where a light menu of appetizers and desserts will be served up with some incredible music. One of NH's best known jazz pianists, DeMarco's quartet will play jazz standards that people know and love, including songs by Charlie Parer, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk and Edith Piaf.
Having grown up in New York City jazz scene, Ray DeMarco has been playing the best of jazz for decades and has been an anchor in the Seacoast Jazz Society. His group (not the image above) consists of Mike Pellecchia on saxes, clarinet and flute, George Blodgett on upright bass, James "Bat" Kaddy on drums, and DeMarco on piano and vocals.
