The Norman Conquests is the story of a barely functioning family and their accidental weekend together. When older sister Ruth's husband Norman plans a tawdry weekend affair with her younger sister Annie, the plan to get away together is quickly compromised by brother Reg and his wife Sarah's early arrival. Not being good with secrets, Annie confesses the details to Sarah who quickly reveals the plan to the entire family one by one, including Ruth and Annie's somewhat boyfriend Tom. Somehow after all that Norman still finds a way to charm and seduce all the women in the family, including his wife Ruth when she arrives. The weekend unfolds over the course of 3 plays Table Manners, Living together and Round and Round the Garden. When a character exits a room they not only enter a new room but a new play!
The Norman Conquests will be staged on a 3 week rotating schedule at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls starting on June 15th.
