Work Trucks
/Users/user/Desktop/front_cd_worktrucks.jpeg Brendan Lake is a singer/songwriter and small boat adventurist who has sailed his ships and sung his songs for audiences in harbor towns on the east coast from Maine to the Florida Keys, in Europe and the Azores. He played all around the San Francisco Bay area while living aboard his schooner and gained notoriety there as a solo act. Since returning to his home in Woolwich Maine, the ever changing lineup of his combo "Brendan Lake and Friends" has solidified into his current band "The Work Trucks". The Work Trucks entertain natives and tourists alike in pubs and taverns from Belfast to Kittery and many places in-between. Brendan's distinctive voice is backed by some of the most talented and experienced musicians in the area. Chris Lannon operated a sound company in Boston for years prior to his move to Maine. He has mastered several string instruments, adding his talents for the Work Trucks on bass. Brackett Clark is part of a group that reassembles now and again although the members live all over the country. His band has played with the Grateful Dead upon occasion. And now he provides very competent keys instrumentation to the Work Trucks efforts. Tom Masucci brings years of percussion with him and Aaron Nadeau strums his guitar with purpose. It all makes for a country band performing the most down-to-earth Americana that can be heard anywhere in Maine.
