Sustainable Design in Architecture and Planning: How to Collaborate and Work Creatively and Efficiently
With the explosive growth and construction happening around the Denver-Metro area and other parts of the country, it's easy to build as quickly and inexpensively as possible in order to generate a quick profit. Building design and community planning can be uninspiring and inefficient but, with some creativity and thoughtfulness, entire neighborhoods and cities can be transformed into models of sustainability and social equity.
Join Denver Professional Net Impact and our presenters, Julie Edwards from OZ Architecture and Jocelyn Hittle from Colorado State University, to discuss how thinking sustainably can - and should - be integral in design and planning processes. They'll present examples that integrate environmentally sustainable elements, social equity, and community connectivity, such as the affordable living Aria Apartments in north Denver to the collaborative National Western Center project.
Please join us for a great discussion and networking! There is a max of 30 spots available so RSVP to ensure you can attend!
