Irene Tu is a stand-up comic, writer, and performer, newly transplanted to the bay from Chicago. She has been in SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, She-Devil Comedy Festival, Chicago Womens Funny Festival, and she co-produces Laugh Function every Saturday 8:30pm at Pappys in Berkeley. http://irenetu.com
Jessica Sele has performed at festivals including Bridgetown Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest. Jessica co-produced a popular weekly show every Thursday in San Francisco in the Cine Cave at Lost Weekend Video called the Mission Position. She also performs at the San Francisco Punchline and Cobbs Comedy Club among others. Her subject material ranges from sexuality to living in the end times to mental health issues and their related substance abuse habits, etc She was described by Bitch Magazine as a hilarious and talented queer woman. https://jessicasele.com
Kaseem Bentley was named SF Weekly Best of Award Winner for "Racial Humor You Don't Feel Guilty Laughing At" and one of the Bay Area's Top 5 Comedians to Watch by the San Jose Mercury News and Kaseem Bentley is an African American insult comic from San Francisco. Growing up with his 'hardcore class clown' father and mom that was like a tough Claire Huxtable Kaseem developed his no-holds-barred comedic style that made friends and co-workers always laugh. After years of procrastinating he finally tried stand up in 2006 and has been steadily making a name for himself in the Bay Area. Known as the "The funniest comic at the worst show" he works at works at the SF Punchline, Cobb's, and all around the bay.
Kate Willett has been featured on Comedy Centrals This Is Not Happening, Vicelands Flophouse and is a regular opener for Margaret Cho who shes toured with nationally and internationally. You might have seen her on Fusion TV or heard her on the Risk! podcast with Kevin Allison. Shes was named a top Artist to Watch in 2016 by SF Weekly, has opened for comedians like Kyle Kinane, Jen Kirkman, Anthony Jeselnik, Dana Gould, Jackie Kashian, Myq Kaplan, and Michael Che. Shes appeared in the 2015 Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, and San Francisco Sketchfest (3 years in a row). https://katewillett.com
Phil Surkis is a comedic storyteller, and has made many friends since producing shows at his brief, but memorable Oakland venue, The Barn. In 2015, Surkis produced a variety show called What Ever Werx at Stage Werx, where he is also a regularly featured performer in the Solo Sundays series. He produced W. Kamau Bell's sold out residency at The Marsh. He is currently a producer for Kamau Right Now! on KALW. Surkis has produced shows featuring Echo Brown, Julia Jackson, Bruce Pachtman, Nato Green, Kaseem Bentley, Karinda Dobbins, Paco Romain, Bucky Sinister, Zach Sherwin, Lydia Popovich, Matt Lieb, and many, many more. http://phil.surkis.com/
