Named for the essential part of the grapevine, Rootstock combines beautiful vineyard ambiance and intimate performances by world-class musicians. Grab a seat at one of our picnic tables or kick back on a blanket beside the vines. The show is about to start!
Rootstock Vineyard Concert Series is a feast for the senses, offering great music, stunning vineyard sunsets, and a picnic menu that complements award-winning Hawk Haven wines. Relax under the stars as you listen to live music from talented up-and-coming singer-songwriters and musicians on a stage built by the Hawk Haven wine maker.
ABOUT THE BASTARD SONS OF CAPTAIN MEY
An electrician, a savvy college student, and a lawyer walk into the Mad Batter Restaurant at Carol Villa for open mic night and The Bastard Sons of Levon Helm were born. Self-described as lost child men hailing from Cape May, to their family, friends, and fans alike Max Crowley, Chris Gillin-Schwartz, and Dylan ODonnell seem to be anything but lost. Growing up in Cape May, NJ, this trio of extraordinary talent play a variety of instruments. They take turns in lead vocals and harmony, guitar and mandolin solos, and comical banter. Their home spun lyrics are vivid depiction of personal memoirs and life learned lessons.
Opening musician starts at 6pm followed by main act at 7pm. Music ends at 9:30pm.
