Poverty Bay Blues and Brews

The Des Moines Rotary Club invites you to attend the 7th Annual Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest on Saturday August 27, 2016. This event is the prime fundraiser for our Highline Music4Life program expanding music to youth in our local schools.

Enjoy a day on the shores of Puget Sound, listening and dancing to the tunes of CD Woodbury Trio 12:30 - 2:00 Polly O'Keary and the Rhythm Method 2:30 - 4:00, SRandy Oxford All Star Slam Band 4:30 - 6:00, Rafael Tranquilino Band 6:30 - 8:00.

To complement your blues and brews, we will be featuring a variety of fine foods. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event.

Micro-Brews, Wines and Hard Ciders featured include:
Tin Dog, Shilling, Elysian, One Tree Cider, Northwest Brewing, Schooner Exact, Aslan Brewing, Georgetown, Fish Tale Ales, Mac and Jack's Peddler, Counter Balance, Fort George Brewery, Ravenna, Lazy Boy, Stoup Brewing, Big Al's, Watermill Winery, Deschutes, and Blue Mountain Cider.

No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of free parking with a free shuttle circulating town on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market.

Tickets are $30 in advance; $35 at the gate. Five tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings are one Token! 100% of the net proceed support the Des Moines Rotary's charitable projects including our primary beneficiary Highline Music4Life
