For the second time this year, NY Japanese Women Jazz Composers (NYJWJC) and the Sakura Jazz Orchestra will present modern jazz compositions by four award-winning composers from Japan at the ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn, NY. In addition, AKDance will showcase its original choreography to four of the compositions by the NYJWJC, and a live demonstration of Ikebana flower arrangement will be presented, accompanied by improvised music.
