Davis Shakespeare Festival returns for its 7th year! Cyrano de Bergerac features one of the most renowned characters of all time. Cyrano is excellent with a sword, brilliant with language, and has that famous nose. Written in 1897 by Edmond Rostand, Cyrano de Bergerac is an enduring translation, and is elevated even further by Anthony Burgess' hilarious translation. Do not miss this epic adventure full of beautiful language and daring battles, all in the name of love.

Festival dates: June 23 - July 31, 2016 Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m., Saturdays & Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for Adults, $20 for Students/Seniors, and $15 for 12 and under June 23 & 24 are preview performances with discounted tickets.
Davis Shakespeare Ensemble is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that presents classical productions and educational programs to the Davis and greater Sacramento community. As of 2014, DSE has taken on the 'Festival' model of rotating rep productions and pre-show events, all the while maintaining our tradition of shedding a new light on classical repertoire.
