Well and Septic Inspection Certification and Maintenance
*One ticket per household can admit up to two for the workshop.
Learn how to properly protect, maintain and inspect your septic system and well. Plus save money by getting certified to inspect your own system at home (only for owner-occupied, gravity fed septic systems who didn't perform own inspection previous time). This workshop will cover how to properly maintain your well and septic system to keep your drinking water safe and to save you money by protecting investments made in your septic system.
o Septic inspection demonstration o Well and septic maintenance tips o Septic inspection certification test
If you're main objective is to save money by getting certified to do your own inspection, here are the conditions that must be met: - It's a gravity fed system - The septic system is owner-occupied - You didn't perform your own inspection last time (homeowners can do inspections every other time, alternating with a certified inspector) - You're not using the inspection to prepare your home for sale.
This workshop is co-sponsored by WSU Clark County Extension and the Clark County Clean Water Program, with help from Clark County Public Health.
WSU Extension programs are available to all without discrimination. Persons requiring special accommodations should call WSU Clark County Extension at (360) 397-6060 ext. 0 prior to the event.
