Please join us on one of three bicycle rides in Riverside State Park, Washingtons largest state park. This family friendly cycling route will be open to those who need to dust off their bike for the first time this spring, or for those who are experienced cyclists. It will feature both road and mountain biking options, as well as the opportunity to view the roaring Spokane River at its finest.
Catering to the roadies, two road bike ride options are available. This first ride option is a five mile, family friendly, out-and-back course along the trail, with gentle hills. The second road bike option is a 17-mile loop on the Centennial Trail, which will have you riding along both the east and west sides of the river.
Taking it off the road, more adventurous cyclists can enjoy a vigorous ten mile ride on a mountain bike tour of the Pacific Northwests renowned mountain biking trails at Riverside State Park. This ride includes spectacular views of the Spokane River and the iconic Bowl and Pitcher. These trails have been the focus of an annual 24 hour mountain bike race, which has been a staple of Riverside State Park for over 15 years.
Riverside State Park just became the recipient of the Trautman Ranch, which was facilitated by Inland Northwest Land Conservancy. This 280-acre parcel of conservation land is another piece that secures the property of Riverside State Park for our community.
(*Please note, road construction will be present at the halfway mark on the 17 mile ride.)
