6.19 Bob The Drag Queen presented by Bridge Club Kai-Kai Pride
We thought long and hard on how to bring you a pride party that makes pride Sunday, well, like, the best day ever (Duh). Survey says: T-Dancing, drag performances and the ability to be both in and out of the sun!
Yazzz!! Portland's in your face drag-dance party (Club Kai-Kai) and Portland's premier Sunday T-Dance (Bridge Club) have teamed up to bring you an all day, inside-outside, pride party to serve your every queer need.
And, to really bring this pride party to the next level, we have WINNER of Season 8 RuPaul's Drag Race, Bob the Drag Queen, to headline the main show!!! Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes! And let us tell you, Bob is here to gag you with a full show; or should we say TWO SHOWS!! Mmmhhmm, we wanted to give the younger LGBTQIA+ audience a chance to partake in the fun of a Sunday pride drag show, and get the chance to see this season's winner of Drag Race in a full show, plus see top-notch local and West Coast talent.
ALL AGES (12-4pm)
Starting at 12pm, Buckmaster and Stacy Stl Lisa will kick-off with a T-Dance, followed by an all ages drag show starring Bob The Drag Queen and other this-is-the-T performers. The all ages show will include a designated 21+ drinking area (two separate bars) for those of age with valid IDs. Doors will open at 12pm, the show will start at 2:30pm, and All Ages VIP meet and greet will commence after the show.
21+ (3-8pm)
At 3pm the 21+ event will kick-off with Bridge Club pumping out the vibes on Star Theater's patio, and Kai-Kai delivering pop-up drag performances through-out the day. At 4pm the doors to the main theater will open, and at 6pm there will be a main stage drag performance inside Star Theater, starring Bob The Drag Queen and other West Coast 2-legit-2-kwit performers. There are two 21+ VIP meet and greets. One will begin at 4pm and the other will begin immediately after the show around 7pm. Please read your ticket, as you will only be able to use your VIP meet and greet for the assigned time.
