Drinks for Dinner
Ryan Pernice and Chef Woolery Back, of Table & Main, will host a five-course Drinks for Dinner Piggy Bank Dinner on Monday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. The Piggy Bank Dinners are an ongoing series of specialty chef dinners benefiting the Southern Foodways Alliance (SFA), an organization based at the University of Mississippis Center for the Study of Southern Culture. The SFA collects oral histories, produces films and podcasts, publishes great writing, sponsors scholarship, mentors students, and stages events that serve as progressive and inclusive catalysts for the greater South. The theme of the dinner will be Drinks for Dinner, and the participating chefs will create a one-of-a-kind dish to pair with the signature cocktails prepared by mixologist Greg Best of Ticonderoga Club. Guest chefs include Woolery Back Table & Main, Richard Neal 5 & 10, Jason Paolini Lintons in the Garden, Zeb Stevenson Watershed on Peachtree, and pastry chef Vivian Lee Osteria Mattone.
Drinks for Dinner will be held Monday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Table & Main. Welcome reception with signature cocktail and passed hors d'oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $135 per person and include tax and grautity.
