This event is 60 minutes.
The 2016 SOULO Theatre Festival is proud to launch the educational/workshop series with acclaimed writer and performer SANDRA SHAMAS. Sandra will speak intimately with the audience about her one-woman shows, how she creates them, her artistic journey through decades of creating and performing autobiographical comedy shows across Canada. There will be time for questions from the audience.
SANDRA SHAMAS is a writer and performer who has toured her one-woman-shows across Canada and internationally to sold out houses and rave reviews. She previously appeared as a panelist at the SOULO Theatre Festival. Shamas has been nominated for the Governor General's Award and the Stephen Leacock Award for the "Laundry" trilogy. She won a Gemini Award in 1991 for Best Performance in Comedy, and won the Best Theatre Award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in March 2003.
Ticket prices:
Advance: $15 + fees
At the door: $20, cash only

*Workshop passes can be used for this event.
SOULO THEATRE FESTIVAL TICKET POLICIES:
+ All shows begin on time.
+ There are NO latecomers, NO refunds, NO exceptions, but we are happy to exchange your tickets to another event (pending availability) if you are late to your show! Please double check your event's start time/location and arrive early to avoid disappointment.
+ Walk-up tickets will go on sale ONE HOUR before the event, cash only.
+ If an event has sold out online, come on down to the theatre and see if we have any walk-up tickets available!
+ Advance ticket sales end at 12pm the day of the event. If online sales have ended, we strongly encourage you to visit the theatre in person!
