Character Detailing and Physicality Workshop with Sarah Shook 06/05/16
Take your character work to the next level in The Playground Theater'sCharacter Detailing and Physicality WorkshopwithSecond City Mainstage cast member, Sarah Shook.Sarah will teach you how to use your body to create physical comedy, finda character through movement, and detail the nuances of the character for both Improv and Solo Comedy. Each student will receivepersonal feedback from Sarah that will help them confidently create unique characters in classes and shows. Sarah Shook is currently part of The Second City's Mainstage cast and has been involved with since 2012. You can also catch her online on Funny or Die with her video group: Its Megan, or with her all female improv group FANNY. She was featured in JFL Chicago-New Faces in 2013, and JFL-Montreal in 2015 for the Set to Screen Pilot Pitch. She is originally from Baltimore, bakes pies and cant resist karaoke. Go Ravens!
