Sans Limites Dance Spring Season 2016
Sans Limites Dance is presenting the works of Emerging, Mid-Career & Established Choreographers/Companies from June 1st -- June 6th, 2016 at The Hudson Guild Theatre; a 99-seat, modern proscenium arch theatre located in Chelsea, NYC.
Inspired by the Duncan quote You were once wild here, dont let them tame you, SLD showcases innovative works that aim to push past the definitions that currently define/confine dance. You will see works that are break down barriers and redefine dance forms through unique choreographic visions; ranging from highly technical/athletic dance to gesture/performance-art based movement.

NOTE: The work of SLD Artistic Director, Diana Pettersen, will be showcased at every show; performed by Susanne McHugh, Morgan L Wallace & Diana Sorokova (soloist).
*Diana Pettersen, Artistic Director of Sans Limites Dance, is a Queens-based choreographer and cultural producer. She has trained with Ballet Hispanico de Nueva York, Mark Morris Dance Group, Martha Graham School and Tiffany Mills Company. She attended Manhattanville College, concentrating in choreography under the mentorship of Peter Pucci and Ara Fitzgerald, graduating with Distinction and receiving an award for "Notable Investigations as an Emerging Choreographer". As Artistic Director of SLD, she has produced six dance series featuring her own repertoire alongside the work of diverse choreographers in New York City.
