According to Vocal Music Director, Kristen Grzeca: "It's a pretty eclectic show, but many of the scenes draw from fairy tales or at least elements of the supernatural (fairies in Midsummer, Cinderella, themes of enchanted romance in Carmen, Hoffmann, and several of the others). All the scenes have some comedic element to them (from Shakespeare adaptations to the absurd, drawing-room farce styles of Gilbert & Sullivan)."
