A Streetcar Named Desire: Fox Film Series
Historic Fox Theatre Restorations is proud to announce the next film in its 2016 Film Series, the 1951 drama, A Streetcar Named Desire, presented by Cascade Mental Health Care.
With elements of film noir, this film is an adaptation of Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1947 play of the same name. It is the story of a southern belle, Blanche Dubois, who, after encountering a series of personal losses, leaves her aristocratic background seeking refuge with her sister and brother-in-law in a dilapidated New Orleans tenement.
Admission for the movie is $10 per person, $8 for members, and $25 per family (three to four persons). Showtimes on Saturday, June 4, are at 2 & 7 pm, at the Fox Theatre in Historic Downtown Centralia, 123 South Tower Avenue.
Presale tickets are available locally at Book n Brush in Chehalis, Holleys Place, HUBBUB, Santa Lucia Coffee and PostNet in Centralia.Season Passes for admission into all of the 2016 Fox Film Series movies are available for $90 per person, or $70 per person for members.
