BIG BUSINESS! A Staged Reading to Benefit Tim McKernan
As some of you may know, our good friend Tim McKernan, who is pretty much the best guy you know or will ever meet, successfully kicked testicular cancer in the balls last autumn. He is now undergoing preventative chemo to insure that the bitch don't come back. Even with insurance, this whole schmagoo will cost Tim a BUNDLE out-of-pocket. Sam Pancake and Drew Droege asked Tim what movie he would love to see them do as a staged-reading benefit and he said "Big Business" --the 1988 Bette Midler-Lily Tomlin comedy classic, of course!
Please join us at the Cavern Club Celebrity Theatre on Tuesday, May 3 at 8 pm for a staged-reading of BIG BUSINESS with Drew Droege as Lily Tomln as the Roses, and Sam Pancake as Bette Midler as the Sadies. Tickets are $15 and we will pass the basket for more donations for this worthy cause on the night, so bring some sweet hot cash money with ya!
