How To Hide Your Monster
HomeGrown Theatre Presents:
HOW TO HIDE YOUR MONSTER
by Heidi Kraay
a staged reading

When Jessie Rose runs away to care for her grandfather, she discovers a secret her mother Judith has kept since she was a kid. She calls in Judith and her sister Savannah to help force out the truth-but in each woman lies a hidden monster in wait, ready to break or liberate her. If they erupt, what's on the other side?

How to Hide Your Monster explores love and the side effects of love through these women's parallel lives. It composts anonymous, personal and true stories submitted to 100 Love Memories Play Project, which make up the histories of each character. This is a play in love with truth, memory, family, longing and wholeness, dealing with the secrets we keep from the people we love most in order to protect them.
