SCREEN DOOR PORCH delivers a Wyoming-grown fusion of Country-Blues, Roots-Rock and soulful Americana akin to Stevie Nicks meets The Band, with Ryan Adams and Bonnie Raitt hanging out backstage (605 Magazine). Grooving, electrified porch music is adorned with the soulful pipes of Seadar Rose and propped-up by Aaron Daviss gritty slide guitar, quirky banjo pickin and an infectious female/male vibe. Drummer/vocalist Andy Peterson and bassist David Bundy combine for the intricate rhythm textures, an the aspect that shifts a songwriters songs into overdrive.
SNEAKY PETE AND THE SECRET WEAPONS is a five-piece that channels original music through a lens of high-altitude stink funk. The diverse web of inspiration flows from the raucous street parades of New Orleans to smoky jazz clubs, exotic Latin ballrooms, intergalactic spaceships, and late-night laser-filled clubs. Debut album Breakfast reached #5 on Relix Magazine/Jambands.com Radio Chart, during which the magazine observed, their tight, practiced musicianship is on display and a pulsing groove remains. The Weapons have developed a reputation for energetic personas from stagejust ask the 400+ folks who have been attending their last few sold-out shows.
After touring the US, Canada and the UK over the last six years as a duo, Sharon Martinson (THE LITTLEST BIRDS) is reinventing Americana banjo music as a solo act with a progressive-meets-old-time sound. Her singular banjo playing, hauntingly beautiful voice, innate grasp of traditional music,and history of the banjo have given her the ability to create a path of her own, following none, and inspiring many.
