The Beerfly Alleyfght!!!
The ORIGINAL craft beer week event, The Beerfly Aleyfight, Eat, Drink, Watch!!! 10 homebrewers brew any style beer they want. They then create some kind of food dish that pairs with their beer. THEN they are assigned a local artist which could be anything from a magician to a dancer or a comedian or a musician. These artist meet with their assigned homebrewer about a month before the event. They then come up with a short performance piece based on their meeting. On the day of the event everyone who attends gets to taste the beer, taste the food, watch the performances and then vote for their favorites! Awards for best beer! Best Food! Best Art! Best overall pairing! It's awesome!
