Shift- Affect
Shift-Affect is an evening length dance performance that poses the question: If we shift the way we think and do, how would it affect the world around us?
During the evening, Borealis Dance joins 3 installation artists that all speak to issues that we, as humans, face. Through dance, we create meaningful work with collaborations that speak to our audiences.
This season we have partnered with The Link to create an artistic statement about the growing concern of sex trafficking in our local communities. The Link provides shelter and programming for victims who have escaped the world of human slavery.
One dollar of every ticket sold will be donated to The Link to support the work they do in our community.
Join us as we celebrate the end of our third season in Minneapolis!
This production is rated PG due to dance pieces identifying with mature subject matter.
Tickets will also be available at the door.
