#2 Adult Raptor Camp
A D U L T R A P T O R C A M P Saturday, September 24, 2016 9AM to 5 PM
Participants will be introduced to 4 different families of raptors (hawks, falcons, owls and eagles) through hands-on encounters. The program will include raptor identification, natural history, predation, mortality, populations, intelligence, instincts, habitat, rehabilitation, falconry, raptor equipment, handling, and the experience of a lifetime.
For this activity, participants must at least 16 years of age, be able to use both arms and both hands without physical limitations. Participants must wear or bring clothing with sleeves. Participants cannot wear sandals. No cameras or video cameras are allowed - a photographer will be taking pictures and the pictures will be made available to you online and free of charge.
Materials, morning and afternoon refreshments, and lunch will be provided by the IRC.
Socks, shoes that tie, and long pants. No shorts or sandals. Photographs will be taken and will be made available on line and free of charge.
Will-Call Tickets: You will not receive a physical ticket from this website. However, you will receive an email from the Illinois Raptor Center with information about the camp and a form to fill out and return to the center. I you have further questions, email to ircinfo@comcast.net
