Mini Guinea Fest!
Join us for Mini Guinea at the Dance Hall! We're celebrating our 5th Anniversary this year and celebrating the West African drum and dance that have been a part of it since the beginning.
We're welcoming back some of our favorite teachers for afternoon workshops and and an evening performance! Sidiki Sylla, Ismael Bangoura, and Seny Daffe from Burlington, VT's Jeh Kulu Drum and Dance Theatre will be teaching and performing. Their expertise and their joy make them some of our favorite guest artists over the years.
When the Dance Hall opened its doors in April of 2011, the hall was filled with the energy of West African dance and drum. And it's been a weekly staple ever since.
