The Captain and Neil
Imagine it's 1984 and you've drunkenly stumbled into the lobby lounge of the MGM Grand. It's just you, the barman, and a handful of Vegas tourists bearing witness to one of the greatest impromptu musical collaborations that may or may not have happened.
NYC musicians and stalwarts Julian Velard and Joe McGinty give birth to the greatest conceptual concert north of 14th street. Watch the living embodiment of two titans of 1970s Pop music and culture, Neil Diamond and The Captain sans Tennille join forces on their hits and oddities while retelling largely fictions origins of each song along the way. A cavalcade of special guests crash the party to duet with the Jewish Elvis, including Amber Martin as Tennille, and Rachel Kopf as the legendary Babs.
This is one-off show cannot be missed! The performance will be followed by dual piano karaoke led by Julian and Joe.
