The Detective's Lover
Scott Miller, a newspaper reporter, is a writing a book of interviews with private detectives. His research leads him to one Dave Goodman, a tough character who tips Scott off to his best lead so far: a legend among detectives named John D. The problem is, John D wants nothing to do with Scott or his book. But Scott's curiosity gets the best of him when he decides to investigate John with the help of his jazz critic friend Eddie Adams. Soon, he's discovered a steamy affair between John and a beautiful woman named Christine. There's something about her that he can't stay away from and he's slowly drawn away from his work into a plot of sex and crime. Directed by local filmmaker, Travis Mills.
