The owners of Hawk's Mill Winery and Landmark Creamery come together for a wine and cheese pairing that is all local and all delicious. Come anytime during the duration of the program (plan on spending about 45 minutes tasting) to taste four artisan cheeses with locally made wines that complement them. Mingle with the makers and discover what makes a good pairing and chat about the cheese and wine making process. All attendees must be over 21.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
About Hawk's Mill Winery & Landmark Creamery:
Hawk's Mill Winery opened in Spring 2015, although the grape vines were planted years before that. The cozy tasting room is perched on a hilltop between the vineyards overlooking a quaint pond. Teresa Joranlien and her husband, Ric, craft a variety of wines from their own grapes and Michigan fruit juices, yielding bottles ranging from dry to sweet--something for everyone.
Landmark Creamery is owned and run by two Anna's. Launched in late 2013, Landmark crafts beautiful cheese from a single sheep dairy in Rewey, WI and pasture-grazed cow milk from Belleville and Darlington. From adorable fresh sheep milk crottins to golden Alpine styles, find their award-winning cheeses at local cheese counters and farmers markets.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
