Jews around the world make different kinds of haroset and families often have their own special recipes. In many Sephardic communities, silan (a syrup made from dates) with walnuts or other nuts is
used for haroset; in many Ashkenazi communities, haroset is made of chopped apples, walnuts, cinnamon, and wine; Buhkarian Jews use a similar mixture with raisins. There are all kinds of variations
of haroset, that include many other items such as dates, figs, nuts, grape juice or wine, and other variations.
We know your secret recipe is the BEST. Come on your own, with your family or a team of friends and make the audience fall in love with your haroset!
