Ignite Leadership Program
Many people aren't given the opportunity to participate in training focused on leadership and management until they are midway through their career, even though 95% of employers agree this development should begin at age 21. The truth is, you exercise leadership when you are working at any level within an organization. Right now you may be working as part of a team, creating a vision for a new project, giving feedback to a colleague, influencing people's decisions, navigating relationships, and problem-solving. THIS is leadership--and when you invest in your personal leadership development in the first 10 years of your career, the dividends will pay off for you and your organization, now and in the future.
If you are an early-career professional who wants to lead with integrity, support and encourage the people you work with, and develop positive, healthy climates at work, take this opportunity to join a network of peers in a five-month process of learning how to lead in alignment with your values and develop a learning culture within your organization.
Through intimate workshops with the same group of peopler (10 or fewer), and two 1-on-1 coaching sessions to maximize your goals and reflection, you will learn strategies for building trust, asking purposeful questions and active listening, recognition, giving and receiving feedback, leading with a learning mindset, and managing in multiple directions. You will affirm your strengths and focus on skill development in a space designed for personal discovery.
The Details:
-July through November 2016
-2 one-on-one coaching sessions (1 hour each) with Anne Powell of Spark Consulting, LLC, determined by your schedule
-5 group sessions (2-hour session once per month) led by Anne, maximum of 10 people, on 3rd Thursdays, 8:30-10:30 a.m. in Seattle
-Fee: $400
