Comedy With Mark Saltveit

Smart, hilarious, meaningful, motivational, and deeply spiritual, a feel-good, life-changing affirmation of all that is true and right. Mark Saltveit wishes he were all of these things, or any of them really, but he's just funny, so that's why he's a comedian.

He's also a dad (divorced and remarried), a skimboarder, an expert writer of palindromes like "Snub dumbo Bob (mud buns)" and a pretty nice guy for such a smartass.

At birth, Saltveit sprang fully grown from the head of Athena, already a highly respected wise man, and has grown steadily more infantile since. Actually, it wasn't exactly her forehead, nor was it Athena, and for all his wisdom he still pooped his pants a lot, but you get the idea.

After outgrowing childhood pastimes of urban planning and political punditry, he threw himself into vital social causes such as palindromes, exploitation movies and chasing women. Now retired, he pursues comedy (though it often gets away from him). In other words, he putters around the Internet, and gets paid to drink beer and tell people what to think, a job laughingly called "entertainment."
