LOESSER KNOWN... The Stories and Songs of Frank Loesser
Join celebrated Southern California Musical Theatre star Heather Lundstedt O'Neill as she pays homage to the work of one of America's most accomplished composer/lyricists in "Loesser Known: The Stories and Songs of Frank Loesser".
The winner of an Oscar, a Tony, a Pulitzer Prize and a Grammy Award... Frank Loesser has written some of the most beautiful and well known tunes in the Great American Songbook, yet many don't know his name. With hits such as "Slow Boat to China", "Luck Be a Lady" (from Guys and Dolls), "My Heart is So Full of You" (from The Most Happy Fella), "I Believe in You" (from How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying), "Heart and Soul" and "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve", Ms. O'Neill is determined to introduce the genius of Mr. Loesser's work to new audiences. The romantic qualities of Frank Loesser's melodies combined with the wit and brilliant simplicity of his lyrics ensures that this evening will leave you feeling "Warm All Over" long after going home.
