"Holiday Nature DIY Creations" by Lynn Tanaka
Everwood Farmstead Foundation is proud to present the Artist Workshop - "Holiday Nature DIY Creations" with Lynn Tanaka on Saturday, October 8th from 10 am-4 pm! This workshop is designed for those who want to introduce natural materials into their DIY creations.
Lynn Tanaka lives an artistic life. Professionally, she has worked over 20 years in illustration, hand-lettering and graphic design. Personally, she is in her happy place designing handcrafted, one-of-a-kind DIY creations using organic materials.
Workshop participants (class size will not exceed 12) will spend the morning roaming Everwood with an emphasis on looking at natural objects in new and innovative ways and gathering them for their project. Lynn will highlight the following three projects in detail and participants will select one that they would like to create that afternoon: 1) autumnal wreath; 2) twig/vine art balls; and 3) container arrangement.
The price for the Workshop is $95 a person (which includes all materials, lunch and beverages).
Participants should bring:
* Comfortable work clothes based on the weather
* Comfortable shoes for foraging
* Gardening gloves
* Your favorite DIY tools - scissors, wire cutters, pruners, X-Actos, glue guns
