Voices in Harmony II with MuSE Chorus
Ensemble 212 and MuSE Chorus team up for its second choral extravaganza featuring works for string orchestra and chorus. Sacred works on the program include Mozart's celebrated Ave Verum Cropus, Schubert's Mass in G Major and the subtile Salve regina performed by acclaimed lyric-coloratura soprano Samantha Britt. Special guest artist from Japan Bunta Sato will perform on the Tsugaru Flute in the world premiere of Yui Kitamura's piece. Contrasting the choral works are string orchestra favorites such as Elgar's idyllic Serenade and the dynamic Adagio and Fugue by Mozart.
