The Lee Trio
These virtuosic sisters, Lisa (violin), Angela (cello), and Melinda (piano), who have won awards in Berlin, London, Finland and Italy, leave an indelible mark wherever they perform. Worldwide concert artists of the first order, they are known for their performances of the classic repertoire. Members of The Lee Trio are graduates of the Curtis Institute, The Juilliard School, Yale and Harvard, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Hannover. The Trio was awarded the 2007 Gotthard-Schierse-Stiftung grant in Berlin for rising international artists.
It is not just their rich palette of tone colours that marks them out, but also the delicious sense of collusion that animates their ensemble playing.
