ARTS ENCOUNTER, HOME, POSTCARDS FROM TIP, Ages 3 - 6
Ages 3-6 Monday to Thursday, from 10:00am 12:00 noon Your young dancers will explore a different story ballet each week culminating in a Thursday family performance. The children will use improvisation, basic movement concepts, folk dance, and classical ballet to recreate the story ballets. Your children will design and construct costumes, props, and scenery to enhance their production. At snack time, well explore a different culture and era while we try foods from around the world.
Home, Postcards from Tip While learning the various rhythms and drums of the Jamaican and African cultures, your young dancers will dance the Wake Stick Dance and show off their Limbo. Our culminating performance will be It Wont Be a Stew Without You. You might even call it a recipe blog.
