Ages 3-6 Monday to Thursday, from 10:00am 12:00 noon Your young dancers will explore a different story ballet each week culminating in a Thursday family performance. The children will use improvisation, basic movement concepts, folk dance, and classical ballet to recreate the story ballets. Your children will design and construct costumes, props, and scenery to enhance their production. At snack time, well explore a different culture and era while we try foods from around the world.
Sleeping Beauty I, Prologue (The Christening) This is the scene of the Grand Celebration. All the fairies bestow a gift on the new princess; the gifts of musicality, generosity, vitality, grace, and wisdom. But someone has noticed that she was not invited... To the beautiful, and sometimes scary, music of Tchaikovsky, our dancers will tell this tale letting you know that they have a plan to save the princess.
