Unknown Tongues and The Midatlantic - Rock the Cape 2016
The Dare County Arts Council will host the 4th annual Rock The Cape concert at Koru Village in Avon on Thursday June 9, 2016 starting at 6pm.
This year's headliner is Unknown Tongues, a cajun-zydeco dance band of the Down East coastal NC bayou. Also on the bill are The Midlantic from Wilmington NC, who blend progressive folk, americana and bluegrass into a fantastic show.
Tickets for the Rock The Cape concert are $12 in advance and $18 at the door.
Concert tickets are available now online at brownpapertickets.com and will be available April 11th at Koru Village in Avon, Dare County Arts Council in Manteo and Cloud Nine Gallery in Nags Head. Additional ticket outlets will be announced at a later date.
Rock The Cape is a multi-day arts festival organized by Dare County Arts Council, from June 8-10. The event celebrates the creative community of Hatteras Island with music, live art demonstrations, hands-on crafts and activities for children. Dozens of local artists, musicians and businesses will be part of this year's event. The Rock The Cape concert on June 9 is a ticketed event, but all other Rock The Cape activities are free and open to the public.
