THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE WILL LOOK AT REVISITING FOR FUTURE DATES.
A six-week intensive on The Sonnets of William Shakespeare not only focuses you on the fundamentals of voice, verse, and solo power performance, but provides access to the mind of the great writer as nothing else does. It will also give you a deeper understanding of the plays of The Complete Works. This workshop shows you a path to better Shakespearean performances and, hence, to you as a better overall actor.
The workshop is led by Dan Decker, founder of the Shakespeare Institute of Nevada and author of an essay on The Sonnets entitled The Two Roses published in the peer-reviewed The New England Theatre Journal.
