Meadowlark Calçotada: a Catalonian-Inspired Spring Feast
Spring has officially sprung in Portland, and we are excited to celebrate the warm weather with one of our favorite food traditions: the calçotada! This Catalonian festival celebrates the humble calçot, a type of spring onion, with grilled meats, decadent amounts of romesco sauce, and plenty of cava.
Our calçotada will consist of a three-course, family-style menu with a beautiful grilled leg of lamb as the centerpiece, along with other Catalonian-inspired touches, including potatoes with a calçot aioli, salt cod, and a luscious crema catalana for dessert.
When: Saturday, April 23rd. Join us at 7pm to mingle over cava and hors d'oeuvres; dinner will be served at 7:30. Where: Tournant, 920 NE Glisan Street Cost: $45 for dinner, gratuity included; $15 additional for wine pairings. Please have your ID with you if you purchase a wine pairing.
This event is 21+.
