Alto saxophonist Jim Hobbs, best known for the Fully Celebrated Orchestra, is a veteran of the Boston and New York free music scene. He's a player of head-spinning range, by turns absolutely ferocious & surprisingly delicate. Tatsuya Nakatani is a percussionist and sound artist who uses
drums, gongs, cymbals, singing bowls, metal objects, bells, and various sticks and bows to create music defies category or genre, blending jazz, free jazz, rock, noise, and the space of traditional Japanese folk music.
