quiet presents subUrbia by Eric Bogosian
Flannel, grunge, angst - all represent some part of the 90s that we either remember or wish to forget. As quiet continues exploring our theme - "All or Nothing: Stories of the Disillusioned, Disenfranchised and Displaced" - we are diving head first into disillusionment with our production of subUrbia.
subUrbia tackles class through an exploration of what it means to be 'other' and why it seems like some have more opportunities, some have more motivation, and still some have nothing at all. Journey with a disillusioned group of friends as they are confronted by the lies and excuses which have kept them trapped in a shallow and meaningless existence.
This is a show for mature audiences.
