INLC Grounded In Nature l Beneficial Bees and PNW Insects l Pat Munts
INLC presents a spring event on gardening that will attract honey bees and native beneficial insects. Presented by master gardener and writer Pat Munts, she will show how to provide nesting and resting places for the ever important bees for both urban and rural settings. This is a two part gardening series on beneficial of insects and seed planting Pat is a Washington native, and has been active member of Spokanes gardening community for over three decades. As a program coordinator for the WSU-Spokane Extension, she has helped countless local farms and landowners manage their lands and gardens. A woman of many talents, Munts also spends her time writing on horticultural topics for both local and national publications, and currently serves as a regional director for the Garden Writers Association. Drawing upon her lifetime of experience, she recently co-authored the book, Northwest Gardeners Handbook. In her spare time, she continues to garden on her Spokane Valley property. Pat Munts continues to grow her support of the local harvest community and sharing her passion for keeping the love of gardening alive so all can benefit within their own homes.
