Presenting a diverse range of young and established composers, based in NYC and abroad, the members ofIktus+explore, in various combinations, mixed ensemble pieces featuring, piano, electric and classical guitar, saxophone, flute, and percussion. The eclectic instrumentation is paired into duo's and quartet's, highlighting the unique sonic and musical possibilities of each combination. In effect, creating an evening length program of adventurous music making.
