IvaFiero Productions Shredded Meat Tour - Chicago Classes
Iva Handfull & Seraphina Fiero are on their 2016 Shredded Meat Tour throughout the Midwest with a long stop in Chicago.
We'd love to share our talents with the Chicago performance community!
Classes are Sunday, May 1st from 12 pm - 4 pm at Dance Center Chicago.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
STORM OF SILK: Silk Veil Fan Technique
Make the most out of this versatile prop! Learn silk veil fan technique from Seraphina Fiero; the Mistress of Silk Mayhem. Manipulate and maneuver a tempest of tantalizing silk fury. Add graceful vivacity to your burlesque routine. The class will focus on isolations, graceful transitions, floorwork, and the applications of this prop to burlesque. A short choreography will be included to integrate these techniques into one package. Dress for movement.
Pre-Requisites: Please bring two silk fans of any length. Tai Chi fans will also work for this class. The instructor will supply a few extra sets of fans to borrow. Floor work with fans will also be covered, knee pads are highly recommended. All skill levels are welcome, there will be a variety of technique taught that would be suitable for the very beginner to the seasoned fan-flutterer.
IVA HANDFULL OF FANS
A hands-on approach to fan dancing!
Trying to find your own niche in the art of fan dance? Looking for another way to fire up your fan dance choreography? Known for her energetic choreography and bold stage presence, Iva Handfull will teach you how to create FANdemonium on stage by thinking of your fans as an extension of your hands and applying this concept to rock star choreography.
Iva works mainly with feather fans but you may bring any kind of fan you want to work with.
SERPENTINE STYLINGS: Bellydance for Burlesque
Learn to slink, slither, and shimmy with Seraphina Fiero! Take advantage of this opportunity to not only learn bellydance technique, but to integrate your new dance vocabulary into your burlesque acts. Hip circles, figure eights, snake arms, and graceful leg sweeps will be covered as well as a few percussive movements to accentuate music. Knee pads are encouraged as we will be doing floor work. Dress for movement.

Add rock and roll to your bump and grind with Her Royal Fierceness herself Iva Handfull. Known for her energetic choreography and bold stage presence, Iva Handfull will teach you to unlock the secrets of your inner fierceness by translating rock and roll performance techniques for the burlesque stage.
Wear clothing and shoes you enjoy dancing in.
