Waterfront Jazz Festival Kick-Off features Guitars and Cigars
Were teaming up with the JR Cigar Lounge in Mooresville, NC for this new Jazz Experience. Come learn about the fine art of cigars and some of the worlds top brands at this evening hosted by a renowned jazz guitarist Paul Brown. Our first Cigars & Guitars event is planned for the Thursday before the Waterfront Jazz Fest, with more in the works!c Complimentary cigar, door prizes, Craft beer and cigar pairings and more!

ABOUT CIGARS AND GUITARS:
The Waterfront Jazz Festival kicks off with a special event on Thursday, April 7, at JR Cigar in Mooresville, NC. Grammy winner Paul Brown will entertain, sharing his many smooth jazz guitar hits, paired with fine cigars and craft beer from JRs unequaled collection. The Guitars & Cigars event takes place at 6 PM.
JR Mooresville, which recently celebrated its first anniversary, features an enormous walk-in humidor stocked with more than 200 brands of handmade domestic and imported cigars and pipe tobacco. Its new craft beer bar featured a carefully curated selection of local and regional drafts, perfect for pairing with a fine smoke. Something is always on special here, both in the cigar and beer collections, and the experts on staff can fill you in on cigar history and emerging trends.
Grammy winner Paul Brown has been called the Man with the Midas touch by JazzTimes, thanks to the more than 60 #1 radio hits he has produced during his career for an all-star list of artists that includes George Benson, Al Jarreau, Boney James and many more. Brown scored several #1 songs himself, including Winelight and 24/7, huge smooth jazz hits. Hell be sharing some of his hits plus songs from his latest albums, The Funky Joint and Truth B Told at the kick-off event.
The Waterfront Jazz Festival, featuring three nights of entertainment by some of the top names in contemporary jazz, runs April 8-10, 2016, at the Queens Landing outdoor amphitheater on the shores of Lake Norman. JR Cigar is located nearby at 130 Consumer Square Drive, Mooresville, NC 28117.
