Eastwind Entertainment & Ernest East Presents...Comedy Night
Ernest East of Eastwind Entertainment is passionate about bringing comedy to Contra Costa County, so that after a week of commuting to work, we can enjoy a quality a comedy show right here in our own backyard. He teamed up with Rick Sullivan and together bring you a show that gives you the best bang for your buck! Join us Friday April 15, with headliner Tony Roberts. Many consider Tony as the funniest man alive, I personally agree. His high energy, quick wit and rapid fire comedy will leave you with side splitting laughter. A native of Detroit, Tony has been seen on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, BET's Comic View, Showtime at the Apollo and Shaquille All Star Comedy Jam. He has live DVD recordings entitled "Wired" & "I'm Different" both the epitome of who he is. Tony also made appearances in the movies Out on Parole, Speed Dating and A Get2Gether. He has numerous You Tube spoofs that will give validity to the title funniest man alive. Don't miss your chance to get up close and personal with Tony Roberts.
Hosted by Ricky Del Rosario, Ricky former radio personality on KMEL's Breakfast Club, and host of the TV show High School Sports Focus. With appearances on BET's Comic View, Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, Ricky was recognized by HBO as one of the Top Ten up and coming comedians in the country. His animated and always funny set will make you and immediate fan.
Special guest Milton Turner has created a fan base with his as an entertainer impressionist.
Mario Hodge will be the opening act. Taking charge of his career with the recently released DVD live taping "I Can't With You" has made Northern Cali take notice that, this guy is here to stay. Opening for some of the biggest names in comedy, Mario is definitely earned his spot on the show.
Featuring the Northern Cal's leading lady of comedy T'Kia, she is a forced to be reckoned with. I say leading lady because in my opinion she is ahead of the pack when it comes to female comedians on comedy circuit. She has been consistently bringing the house down with her hilarious performances.
